Join us as we pursue our mission to expand our base of clients and partners for our software solution – iSAT – and related services in the specialty area of Legacy Code Modernization helping prospects and clients accelerate their Cloud journey.  Reporting directly to the VP of Sales & Strategic Alliances, the Marketing Director will develop, take over and maintain marketing programs to develop viable leads and opportunities for our sales team.  Additional responsibilities will be to manage and coordinate all marketing programs in support of selling, message development and dissemination and all related marketing programs and events.

Your Role:
We are looking for a talented Marketer interested in joining a high-impact, high-visibility team. Marketer will be an Individual Contributor.  You are passionate about crafting messaging and designing programs for business leaders that show how technology can address their biggest challenges. You have experience building go-to-market programs and processes and tackling challenges refining our sales playbook.You will be integral part of our management team with the goal of driving incremental profitable revenue growth for AveriSource.

This role is highly cross-functional, with a focus on both strategy and execution. You will work with corporate messaging, campaigns, field marketing, and product teams to be the connective tissue across our narrative and programs. You will also collaborate with sales and enablement to create full funnel programs to ensure our top-level stories directly lead to accelerated and higher-value sales processes.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Create strategy, positioning and messaging for new solutions campaign programs
  • Own creation of compelling executive content for consumption in campaigns and events, working with internal teams and external analysts and agencies including versioning control
  • Own development of key sales tools (presentations, discovery guides) and collaborate with enablement and sales leaders to bring solutions narratives into the selling and renewal process
  • Champion solution positioning and messaging internally and externally
  • In partnership with product development, understand broad market trends and challenges faced by AveriSource customers and prospects as well as the implications and how AveriSourcesoftware suite solves those challenges
  • Be the key coordination point with AveriSource’s external marketing-related strategic partners
  • Be a key player with our core Cloud provider partners AWS, Google and Microsoft
  • Support all System Integrator partnerships and related requirements
  • Update Salesforce.com with lists, campaigns and related content

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

  • 5-8+ years of B2B technology experience; SaaS experience a plus
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and thrive amid ambiguity with a “make it happen” attitude
  • Experience selling / marketing to / working with executives. Strong understanding of the business environment and what keeps executives up at night
  • Amazing written and verbal communication skills with experience developing differentiated messaging and content
  • Ability to translate technical products into use cases and business value
  • Experience building effective sales content and delivering compelling presentations
  • Strikes a balance of thinking strategically while defaulting to execution
  • Understands and empathizes with the B2B sales process
  • Solid negotiator
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Computer literate with strong organizational and analytical skills
